What is a BASWA Ceiling?

A BASWA ceiling is a premium, monolithic acoustic plaster system designed to look exactly like standard, smooth gypsum plaster or traditional render. Unlike standard surfaces that bounce sound back into a room, a BASWA installation absorbs up to 85% of ambient noise energy (Class A sound absorption), drastically reducing echo and reverberation times.

The system achieves this by pairing a high-density, pre-coated mineral wool or natural fiber panel base with a microporous, sound-transparent marble-dust finish coat.
